The APPLE
I went to NYC a couple of weeks ago to take a seminar on Time Management and to visit with some of my favorite reps. I am pressed for time (LOL) right now, but here are some cool snaps of the Metro Museum of Art on Central Park East, Crossing 5th avenue in a Beatles sort of way, F.L. Wright's masterpiece, Times Square, and 321 44th... where John Lennon left his office the night he was shot (speaking of the Beatles) and where both P-Diddy and our reps now have offices. There is also a negative of a Trump building -hate the fake gold crap, and The Westway Diner... where Jerry S. and David L. first met to discuss a pilot for NBC. This is one of my favorite Saturday morning spots for breakfast. Cheap and fast with plenty of people to watch. This is on 9th (I think) between 44th and 45th. Dig the art deco-ish fans and the mondrian tile-like border without all the primary colors. Most of the floor is in dull white and green. The booths are wood laminate. Funky but cool with a certain amount of cache because of the Seinfeld thing. Buy Season One of Jerry, Kramer, et al and look at the bonus features -shows Jerry standing in the diner and talking about the show and meeting David at Westway. Check out Westway's Corten neighbor when you go. Rust sidewalk.
Talk to you soon.
